Maroš Rovňak was selected for a pronounced visual opinion transpiring from his production, focused on his person and orientated towards the photographic medium, and above all for metaphorical intimate “body” objects, thematizing gender questions associated with sexual identity, in which he criticizes opinions of Catholic Church representatives and conservative politicians, concerning the rights and freedoms and partner’s life of sexual minorities.
