Erik Binder lives up to his reputation of “big-little boy” of Slovak visual art scene. He approaches the art as an unbinding game through which he attacks the traditional ideas about how the art should look like. However, the appearance of his installations and objects hides the multi-layered network of concepts of thoughts, which are highly topical in contemporary art. From personal mythology of his individual and artistic program Kunst-fu to the encoded critical engagement “in favor of” or “against” anything what Erik Binder chooses in a given moment.
