Artist statement / about artist Artist resume News from the artist

Works with video, sculpture, sound, installation and performance.
She charges her works with references to more general places, a kind of template creating extra-frame space and parasitizing on any kind of interpretation. She focuses on this particular space at the expense of the very image. The viewer is often placed in front of the experience where “I see” actually means “I acknowledge” and where perception is guided not so much by the image itself but by the hints provided for interpretation.

"In her work, Rada does not rely on direct provocation but shares categorically her view. Using various means of expression, usually minimized to the most essential, the author accomplishes her quiet dialog. The intimacy in her installations relaxes and charges emotionally the viewer, stimulating the freedom of response. Simultaneously, the means of expression and the elements used by the artist are usually selected on the grounds of some uncommon dramaturgy. The author often finds a particularly sterile way to entangle in the overall story a perverse, and in certain of its details absurd moment. The final impression from most of her projects is one of moderation at the borders and states of minds. "
