At present, Evžen Šimera is concerned with painting. He has achieved unexpected results by working with drops of paint running on the canvas, a method that replaces traditional art techniques. This technological innovation enables him to explore painting and its limitations. He looks for points of contact between painting and object, authorship and contingency, minimalism and design.
